About us

The Old Bakehouse Antique Centre (formerly Northampton Antique Centre) has been in existence since June 2011 when the current owners Steve and Kim Culverhouse took over and re-named it.  As the building was originally a Bakery it seemed appropriate to call it The Old Bakehouse and earlier on this year as part of our refurbishment programme we also added the two Victorian style shops, which you find on the left as you come in.  These are named Faulkners Bakery after the original baker Mr Faulkner.  Last year we also added 4 brightly coloured beach huts opposite the victorian style shops.

We also own Austin our lovely old van which you will see or hear - look out for the bubbles and listen out for the music - around Northampton driven by Steve and then there is George our horse who stands proudly in the entrance with his trap behind him.

Currently there are over 60 traders selling their items from the Bakehouse including Antiques, Collectables, Retro and Vintage pieces to name a few.

You can shop in the beach huts and Victorian style shops as you come in, then progress up to the Bakers Yard where you will find 12 cabins full of goddies.  Enter the shop where you can shop in the back room where you an also enjoy a cuppa and a cake in The Old Bakehouse Cafe.  Then there is upstairs where there is a whole room full of vinyl as well as other items.  Back downstairs browse the many cabinets in the lobby and corridor which leads you into the front room.

We are very proud of The Bakehouse and it's traders and are delighted to welcome customers and visitors both exisiting or new who come through it's doors.
